FAQs
What is gouache?
The type of gouache I use is Holbein Acryla Gouache and it's best described as a mix between watercolour and acrylic paint. It dries fairly quick and has an opaque finish. I enjoy using it because gouache layers nicely and is easy to fix any mistakes with.
Do you offer any tutorials?
Sometimes I'll post advice and tips through my Instagram and share the process of creating a painting but at the moment, I'm not providing any tutorials.
How should I take care of my new painting?
It's best to keep them in a cool and dry temperature that is stable and away from direct sunlight or any pollutants (ie. smoke or heavy dust). Try not to touch the artwork unprotected as oil and residue from hands can affect the painting. Keep it flat and avoid placing it areas where it could get damaged easily.
For framing, a UV-protective glass would be best or any acid-free materials. Improper care can lead to fading, mold, warping, or other physical damage.
My painting(s) arrived with a Certificate of Authenticity, what do I do with it?
All of my works now include a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) upon purchase. It provides you details on the work as the new owner of the painting and verifies that it was created by me.
To ensure that it doesn't get lost, you can place at the back of the painting when you frame it to keep it with the painting.
